According to LA Times beat reporter Brad Turner, shooting guard JJ Redick is interested in joining the Houston Rockets "if the finances can work".

Redick, a former teammate of new Rockets point guard Chris Paul, boasts career averages of 11.9 points and a .415 career three-point percentage. The Rockets are currently operating over the cap and would likely need Redick to accept a pay cut in order for him to join the team, potentially for their mid-level exception.
